Ingredients
  • 50 g butter
  • 1/4 l of warm water
  • 25 g pressed yeast
  • 300 g rye flour
  • 300 g wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon mixed chopped herbs, Marjoram, Sage, tarragon and basil
  • 4-5 tablespoons chopped parsley
For the oven tray
  • margarine
Instructions
  1. Spread a baking tray with margarine. Melt the butter in the water. Shred the yeast in the water and mix it stirring.
  2. Sift rye flour in a dish with half of the wheat flour and mix with salt. Work the unread yeast with the flour until you get a soft dough.
  3. Work the dough until it bubbles and let it ferment covered 30 minutes. Heat oven to 225 degrees. Add the rest of the sifted flour and herbs to the dough and make a flat round bread.
  4. With a spoon make a hole in the center of the bread and increase it by turning with the spoon until a thread is formed. Place it on the baking tray and let it ferment covered 20 minutes.
  5. Paint the bread with water and sprinkle a thin layer of flour on top. Cook 20-30 minutes in the bottom of the oven.
