Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 50 g sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla powder
- a pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 250 g flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 l buttermilk
For the boatman

Instructions
- Beat the butter with the sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs until a foamy dough is obtained. Sift the flour with the yeast and add little by little by tablespoons to the dough alternating with the whey.
- Incorporate the serum necessary for a fluid mass to form. Spread the boatman with oil and heat it. Pour each time a tablespoon of dough in the hot boatman and cook the wafers 4-6 minutes.
- With the indicated ingredients, about twelve wafers are obtained..
Notes
- The wafers are tastier fresh from the boatman, but already somewhat cold. You can put on each wafer a heaping spoonful of iced whipped cream.
