Ingredients
  • 6 baguette slices of 3 cm thick
  • ¾ Cup of beaten egg
  • ⅔ Cup skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons of Apple juice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds
  • ¼ Cup apple butter
  • ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon powder
Instructions
  1. Put the bread on a baking tray in a little oil-impregnated.
  2. In a bowl mix the egg beaten with milk, Apple juice and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the mixture over the bread and refrigerate for, at least, 2 hours.
  4. Pull out the tray half an hour before baking.
  5. Bake during 30 minutes at 250 °.
  6. Spread the bread with the jam and adds a bit of almond and cinnamon.
