Ingredients
- 6 baguette slices of 3 cm thick
- ¾ Cup of beaten egg
- ⅔ Cup skimmed milk
- 2 tablespoons of Apple juice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds
- ¼ Cup apple butter
- ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon powder
Instructions
- Put the bread on a baking tray in a little oil-impregnated.
- In a bowl mix the egg beaten with milk, Apple juice and vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture over the bread and refrigerate for, at least, 2 hours.
- Pull out the tray half an hour before baking.
- Bake during 30 minutes at 250 °.
- Spread the bread with the jam and adds a bit of almond and cinnamon.
