Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 Tablespoons of hot water
- 120 g sugar
- 150 g ground almonds
- 50 g flour
- 4 egg whites
- a pinch of salt
On the other hand
- 1/2 l of milk
- The inside of a vanilla pod
- 50 g of fecula
- 5 egg yolks
- 100 g sugar
- 1 Vanilla powder bag
- 250 g butter
- 50 g sliced toasted almonds

Instructions
- Grease the bottom of a detachable mould of 26 cm diameter and sprinkle with flour.
- Heat oven to 180 degrees. Beat the yolks with water and 90 g sugar. Add the almonds and flour.
- Beat the egg whites to the point of snow with the rest of the sugar and salt and incorporate them from bottom to top.
- Place the cake dough in the pan and cook 25-30 minutes at medium oven height. Let cool on a rack. After two hours cut the cake twice horizontally.
- Cook milk with vanilla, Add the starch diluted in cold water and cook. Beat the yolks with the sugar and vanilla powder and mix with the already cold milk
- Beat the butter and mix with the vanilla cream. Spread two cake lids with a 1/4 part of the cream and put them on top of each other, placing the third on top.
- Cover the cake with cream and spread the almonds into slices. Place in a cool place.
