Ingredients
  • 200 grams of butter
  • 200 grams of sugar (1 Cup)
  • 100 grams of corn starch (1/2 Cup)
  • 100 grams of flour (1/2 Cup)
  • 2 tablespoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 Cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 3 Green or red apples (choice)
Instructions
  1. In a bowl beat the butter with the sugar until it is well-creamy. Add one egg while still beating.
  2. Apart, Sift flour, baking powder and cornstarch; Add these ingredients to the previous batter, mix until dough is soft.
  3. Grease a round pan of 24 cm. in diameter and sprinkle with some sugar, cover with Apple slices. Gently pour the dough over Apple slices.
  4. Place in moderate oven 30/40 minutes. Unmold, leave to cool and serve if desired with whipped cream.
