Ingredients
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 shallots
  • 1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste
  • 1 stalk of lemon grass
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 450 GR. round pumpkin
  • 600 CC. chicken broth
  • 600 CC. coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 100 GR. cooked shrimp
  • 2 Red chile rings
  • 12 Basil leaves
Instructions
  1. Crush the garlic in a mortar, shallots and shrimp with salt and the lemon grass paste. Peel the squash and cut into cubes. Boil the broth with the mixture and pepper's 10 to 15 minutes. Add the coconut milk, the fish sauce and sugar.
  2. When the boil, Add the shrimp and remove from heat. Distribute in bowls and garnish with chilli and Basil.
