Ingredients
- 8 medium chicken thighs, o 12 small
- 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper black ground
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon ground fennel
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 medium onions, sliced thin
- 3/4 cup of coconut milk
- 1 Cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, Malt vinegar or tamarind sauce
Instructions
- Wash chicken in cold water and dry with absorbent paper.
- Mix the garlic, Salt, pepper, cumin. cilantro, the fennel, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons oil. Spread the chicken with this mixture, Cover it and leave it marinating for 1 time in the refrigerator.
- Heat the rest of the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and, stirring, Sauté it until golden but soft. Add the chicken and fry over medium high heat until golden brown.
- Mix coconut milk with water and lemon juice, Pour it over the chicken, Tape it and let it cook slowly for a few 40 minutes until it is very tender and the sauce has been reduced quite a bit. Serve it with rice.
