Ingredients
  • 8 medium chicken thighs, o 12 small
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper black ground
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground fennel
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 medium onions, sliced thin
  • 3/4 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, Malt vinegar or tamarind sauce
Instructions
  1. Wash chicken in cold water and dry with absorbent paper.
  2. Mix the garlic, Salt, pepper, cumin. cilantro, the fennel, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons oil. Spread the chicken with this mixture, Cover it and leave it marinating for 1 time in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat the rest of the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and, stirring, Sauté it until golden but soft. Add the chicken and fry over medium high heat until golden brown.
  4. Mix coconut milk with water and lemon juice, Pour it over the chicken, Tape it and let it cook slowly for a few 40 minutes until it is very tender and the sauce has been reduced quite a bit. Serve it with rice.
