Ingredients
  • 8 medium chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons of dried sherry
  • 1 teaspoon of soaked garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon of five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds, to decorate
Instructions
  1. Wash chicken in cold water and dry with absorbent paper.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, cover them well and marinate them in the fridge for a 1 hour at least. Preheat the oven at 180 ' C. Drain the chicken from the marinade, put it in a smoke source and roast it for 15 minutes.
  3. Turn around and tie them up 15 minutes more.
  4. Sprinkle them with sesame seeds. Serve very hot with steamed rice. or cold for a casual meal.
