  • 12 ripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ pound ground beef
  • ½ Onion
  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ red pepper or paprika
  • 1 package cheddar cheese or mixed cheese
  • 1 package of mozzarella cheese
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Cream cheese (Philadelphia)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of Sofrito
  • Cilantro to taste
  • 1 ulna "Knor" - seasoning
  • 1 envelope of sazon with achiote powder
  • Salt or adobo I
  • Frying oil
  1. Cut bananas into slices and FRY.
Preparation of meat
  1. Chop the onion into small dice, pepper green, red pepper.
  2. In a pot, mix the meat with the onion, Peppers, crushed garlic, sofrito, chopped cilantro, cube and seasoning powder and salt or adobo to taste.
  3. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
Assemble the pie
  1. In a lasagna pan sprayed with "non stick spray". Beat an egg and pour it in the bottom of the pan to prevent the pie from sticking.
  2. Place the first layer or floor of banana
  3. Then place carme and cheeses (to taste)
  4. Repeat 2 o 3 floors depending on the mould.
  5. On the cover of the pie place another egg, beaten (Optional) and top cover with cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350° F until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
