Ingredients
  • 500 g honey
  • 500 g of sugar beet syrup
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 700 g wheat flour
  • 300 g rye flour
  • 1 teaspoon ammonium carbonate
  • 3 teaspoons of potassium carbonate
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 200 g raw marzipan mass
  • 130 g sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 DRAM of rum (2 CL)
  • 100 g of chopped candied fruits
  • 100 g split almonds
  • 300 g of fatty chocolate bath
  • whole candied fruits
Instructions
  1. Boil the syrup with honey and water. Leave to cool. Work the flour and with honey mass ammonium carbonate. Dissolve the potassium carbonate in milk and add to the dough.
  2. Make a ball and let stand wrapped in aluminum foil for two days at room temperature. Mix the raw mass of marzipan with sugar, egg yolks, Rum, candied fruits and almonds.
  3. Heat oven to 200 degrees. Dough sheeters, of 1 1/2 cm thick, and cover with her heart molds. Put the filling in the Center. Brush the edges with milk, place a second layer of dough over filling and press edges well.
  4. Bake-height measuring the oven during 20-30 minutes. Cool the cake, cover with chocolate and decorate with candied fruit.
