Ingredients
  • 600 g flour
  • 1 Yeast powder sachet
  • 200 g margarine
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 l of milk
  • 1 1/2 kg of apples
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • the grated rind of 1 lemon
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 100 g of raisins
  • 100 g unpeeled chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 200 g of apricot jam
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Sift the flour with the cam- hard powder and knead it with margarine, sugar, Salt and milk. Let the covered dough rest 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  2. Peel and grate the apples coarsely and mix with the juice and lemon zest, sugar, cinnamon, raisins and hazelnuts. Heat oven to 200-220 degrees Celsius.
  3. Spread out three quarters of the dough and line the bottom and edges of the baking tray with it. Spread the apple mixture over the dough. Flatten the rest of the dough, cut it into strips, Place it in the form of a grid on the cake and spread it with the beaten yolk.
  4. Bake the cake 30 minutes to half-height. Leave to cool. Spread the dough rack with the heated jam.
  5. Mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice and glaze the cake rack.
