Ingredients
  • 250 g margarine
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/8 of l of milk
  • 400 g flour
  • 100 g of starch
  • 1 Yeast powder sachet
  • 40 g cocoa powder
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of powdered sugar
  • For molds: margarine and bread crumbs
Instructions
  1. Spread margarine on two tall crown molds 16 cm diameter and spread breadcrumbs on them. Heat oven to 175 degrees. Beat the margarine with the sugar until you get a frothy mixture and add the eggs one by one and then the milk.
  2. Sift the flour with the starch and baking powder and mix by the spoonful with the dough. Pour half of the dough into the two molds. Mix the rest of the dough with the cocoa and sugar and pour this dark dough over the light dough. With a fork, stir both doughs in a spiral.
  3. Bake the cakes 45-50 minutes in the bottom of the oven. Cool on a wire rack and sprinkle with the sifted powdered sugar.
Notes
  • If only a small crown mold is available, The second cake can be baked in a round or even elongated aluminum foil pan.
