Ingredients
  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon anise grains
  • the bark of 1/3 grated lemon
For the oven tray
  • butter and flour
Instructions
  1. Grease two baking trays with butter and sprinkle flour over the top. Sift the flour in a dish. Beat the sugar together with the eggs until you get a frothy dough and add the flour by the tablespoons.
  2. Add the anise seeds and lemon zest. Form the dough into rounded bars the thickness of a finger. Cut pieces of 5-6 cm long and form crescents with them. Cut three oblique cuts at the top of the crescents with a thin knife.
  3. Place the pasta on the baking tray and let it rest overnight at room temperature. Heat oven to 190 degrees.
  4. Cook the crescents at medium height for 10-15 minutes.
Notes
  • The crescent is the typical shape of these pastas. If you want to finish sooner. Bars can be cut into discs of equal thickness. Make a few cuts and continue working them as the recipe indicates.
