Ingredients
  • 300 g of frozen puff pastry
On the other hand
  • 1 can of anchovies
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1-2 tablespoons of coarse salt
Instructions
  1. Let the dough sheets thaw side by side and at room temperature 20-30 minutes.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, Spread the dough sheets to twice their size and trim round pastes from 6 cm in diameter.
  3. In half of the pastries put on each one a fillet of anchovy. Beat the yolk and spread with it the edges of all the pastries. Put a second paste on each of the first and tighten the edges well. Also spread the top of the pastries with yolk and spread the salt on top.
  4. Put the pastries on a baking tray wet with cold water and let them rest 15 minutes. Heat oven to 210-220 degrees. Cook the anchovy puff pastry 10-15 minutes to half-height. It is best to serve them still hot.
Notes
  • Instead of anchovies in oil you can use another type of anchovies for filling.
