Ingredients
- 500 g of pork and veal, minced
- 1/4 cup of dried apricots,fine chopped
- 4 well chopped chives
- 2 teaspoons of sweet chilli sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- salt and pepper
- 1 little beaten egg
- 1 or 2 tablespoons of freshly grated bread
- 1 large red pepper
- oil for frying
- 1 Italian cake, cut in quarters
- sprigs of peas to decorate
Yogurt sauce
- 1/4 Cup of plain yogurt
- 2 or 3 teaspoons of honey
- 1 or 2 teaspoons of tahina (sesame paste) or peanut butter
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
To prepare the sauce
- mix the yogurt with the honey, tahina or peanut butter and garlic in a bowl; get it right.
The other
- Knead the minced meat together with the apricots in a bowl, spring onions, chilli sauce, garlic, salt and pepper, the egg and bread crumbs. Form with the resulting dough 4 round lots, cover them and leave them in the fridge about 10 minutes.
- Cut the pepper in half, remove the seeds and membrane, place it on the grill, smeared with oil, and leave it in the preheated oven some 5 minutes or until the skin turns black.
- Then cover it with a damp cloth and let it cool. Once cold, peel it and cut it into Band-Aids.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan with oil, cold portions for a few 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and well done.
- Let them drain on absorbent paper. Cut the cake horizontally and roast the inner face of the slices a little; butter them to taste and serve them on individual plates topped with sprigs of peas, the burger, pepper strips, yogurt sauce and the other half of the Italian cake.
