Ingredients
- 500 g of lean beef, minced
- 1/4 Cup of bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, ground
- 100 g of york ham, crumbled
- 1/2 Cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 spoonfuls of Corinthian raisins
- 2 teaspoons of Mexican chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 white bread buns
- 300 g of spinach leaves in Band-Aids
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 spoonfuls of soft pickles in vinegar, sliced
Polenta
- 1 Cup water
- 1/2 cup of polenta (corn flour)
- 30 g butter
- 1/2 Cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of chilli powder
- 1/4 Cup of cheese cream
- 1/2 red pepper, finely chopped
Instructions
- Oil-spread an elongated mold and cover with foil. Boil the water in a large saucepan, pour the polenta and leave it over medium heat some 5 minutes or until the mixture boils and thickens. Add butter, cheeses, chilli powder and pepper. Mix well and pour into the pan. Once cold, unmould the mixture, remove the foil and cut it into thin slices.
- In a medium bowl, love the meat with the breadcrumbs, milk, Salt, pepper, cheese, Ham, raisins and chilli powder. Mold the dough into 4 round, flattened portions, cover them and leave them in the fridge 3 hours or all night.
- In a frying pan with oil, cold portions over medium heat a few 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and well done.
- Cut the buns in half and roast them lightly. Spread the foundations between them 4 plates and cover with shredded spinach, the burger, sour cream, the slices of polenta and the pickles. Finish the other half of the bun.
