  • 250 g butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 100 g raw marzipan mass
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 knife of aromatic clove powder, nutmeg and salt
  • 500 g flour
For moulds and the baking tray
  • flour and 100 g sliced almonds
  1. These pastries are made in special moulds that can be purchased at specialty stores.
  2. Sprinkle flour on all moulds and one or two trays from the oven and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  3. Knead the butter with the sugar and marzipan mass. Add the egg. cinnamon. cardamom, nail, nutmeg, salt and sieved flour. Leave the dough wrapped in aluminium foil during 2 hours in the refrigerator
  4. Heat oven to 190 degrees. Place small pieces of dough into the moulds and tighten. Cut the dough sticking out of the mould so that only fills the gaps. Dump the figures on the oven tray giving a blow.
  5. Cook at medium altitude 10 minutes. Remove the tray with a wide knife figures and leave to cool on a wire rack.
  • Sliced almonds give the figures a cheerful note but the pastas are delicious even without the almonds.
