  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 celery stalks, cut into pieces
  • 3 carrots cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons of corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons fennel, cut into chunks
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium squash cooked and peeled
  • 1 large tomato, in pieces
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 1 Cup of hot water
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 Bay leaf
  1. In a saucepan fry the onion in butter, 5 minutes. Then add the other vegetables and chopped parsley.
  2. In addition, vegetable broth and corn starch are dissolved, add the vegetables that are in the saucepan. Fennel is added, pepper and bay leaf. Cover.
  3. It is simmered during 1/2 hour or until vegetables are tender, but without them falling apart.
