Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 TSP. turmeric
- 1 Cup long-grain rice,crude oil
- 4 CDAS. rice wine vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 CDA. sesame oil
- 1/2 Cup salted peanuts
- 1/3 Cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup sliced water chestnuts
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, the turmeric and the rice over medium-high until it boils, reduce temperature to low. Cover and cook for 15-20 min.
- Remove the rice from the fire and let it cool. Incorporated by whisking the vinegar, salt and pepper. Put the oil, the cacahutes, coriander and water chestnuts.
- Stir until well combined. Cover tightly and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve cold.
