Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 TSP. turmeric
  • 1 Cup long-grain rice,crude oil
  • 4 CDAS. rice wine vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 CDA. sesame oil
  • 1/2 Cup salted peanuts
  • 1/3 Cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 cup sliced water chestnuts
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, the turmeric and the rice over medium-high until it boils, reduce temperature to low. Cover and cook for 15-20 min.
  2. Remove the rice from the fire and let it cool. Incorporated by whisking the vinegar, salt and pepper. Put the oil, the cacahutes, coriander and water chestnuts.
  3. Stir until well combined. Cover tightly and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve cold.
