Ingredients
  • 1 kg. of pumpkins or pumpkins
  • 1/2 litre of water
  • 1/2 litre of orange juice
  • 1/2 kg. Black sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of glucose
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
Instructions
  1. Peel, boil and cut the shoe. Leave 12 hours in the cooking water with the baking soda. Remove the cooking water, add orange juice, vanilla and sugar and make a syrup (10 minutes to fire slow), add the shoe or pumpkins (raw and chunky) and cook until thickened. Leave to cool and add glucose.
