Red Velvet cupcakes

Today we are going to create some really original and very famous cupcakes in America: the"red velvet"o Red Velvet cupcakes ( for those who don't control much of English).
They are thus known, Since the base has cocoa and that it gives a color reddish. In addition, are often add coloring. Topping, is usually do with meringue or cream and is by that that are so beautiful. We create our own red velvet Cupcakes.

Ingredients
  1. Ingredients for 4 people
  2. • 2 1/2 cups flour
  3. • 2 cups sugar
  4. • 1/2 Cup of cocoa (powder)
  5. • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  6. • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  7. • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  8. • 100 g butter at room temperature
  9. • 5 large eggs
  10. • 1 Cup of buttermilk
  11. • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  12. • 1 teaspoon of red dye (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one to one, making sure to beat well after each egg.
  2. Add 1/4 of the dry ingredients to the creamy mixture then approximately 1/4 alternating until well blended whey. Mix the vanilla and the coloring.
  3. Fill the molds for cupcakes up to half of the capacity approximately. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees during each 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the Center comes out clean.
  4. Our Red Velvet Cupcakes molds to cool during 5 to 10 minutes and then remove from the moulds. Let cool completely on wire racks before the frosting.
  5. If you don't have buttermilk in each you can try this simple substitution. Place a tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar white in an empty Cup and fill with milk . Let stand for 5 minutes and then use
