  • 500 g raw marzipan mass
  • 350 g powdered sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 egg yolk
  • some cherries in liquor
  • a little lemon crust and bound orange
  1. Working the marzipan dough with 200 g of sugar powder. Spread the dough over a table so that it has 1 cm thick and cut small hearts.
  2. Form thin bars with debris. Beat the whites and yolk separately. Paint marzipan bars with clear and place them on the outer edges of hearts.
  3. Make incisions with a knitting needle on these edges.
  4. Then paint with the whipped yolk. Heat oven to 220 degrees. Place the marzipan hearts on a baking sheet and cook on the top until the edges begin to brown. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
  5. Beat the rest of the whites with the rest of the powdered sugar and paint with this mixture the inside of the hearts.
  6. Chop the candied fruits and decorate with them the hearts to taste.
