Ingredients
- 4 ripe and peeled pears
- 1 lemon juice and their shells
- 1 anise star
- 1 cup sugar
- 100 g ground almonds
- 100 g butter
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups of water
Preparation
- Cut the fruit in half, Remove beads with seeds and place the pears in a pan, cover with water and add the juice and lemon peel, anise and 1/3 cup sugar.
- Cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until the pears are cooked. Remove from heat and allow to cool in the syrup. Preheat the oven to 180 º (moderate). In a bowl, combine with remaining sugar almond.
- Melt the butter and let it cool a bit. Mix dry ingredients and add eggs. Remove the pears in the syrup and cut each half into six slices.
- Spread the dough in an ovenproof container and place the pears on the mass, forming a drawing. Bake for 30 minutes or until well browned.
- Remove from the oven, leave to cool slightly. If you wish, Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with ice cream.
