The delicious Fettuccine Alfredo Shrimp in the traditional way
1 (9 Oz) of refrigerated fettuccine
1 pound of shrimp, peeled and cleaned
2 green onions, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 / 2 Cup (2 Oz) grated Parmesan cheese
1 / 3 cup half and half
3 tablespoons (1 1 / 2 Oz) cream cheese 1/3
1 / 4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of parsley fresh chopped
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, omitting salt and fat. Drain the pasta in a colander over a bowl, reserving 1/4 Cup cooking juices. Combine shrimp, onions and garlic in a small bowl. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add olive oil; swirl wrap. Add shrimp and saute mixture during 4 minutes or until the shrimp are done. Out of the frying pan, keep the heat.
Reduce to medium heat. Add the reserved cooking liquid, Parmesan, cream cheese and a half, the cream and pepper skillet. Cook by 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Combine the pasta, cheese mixture, and the mix of shrimp. Sprinkle with parsley.
