Ingredients
  • 200 g butter
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 50 g raw marzipan mass
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • the bark of 1/2 grated lemon
  • 250 g flour
On the other hand
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup sugar
Instructions
  1. Mix soft butter with powdered sugar. marzipan, vanilla and lemon rind.
  2. Sift the flour over the butter dough and knead. Form rounded bars with the dough 5 cm in diameter, wrap them in foil and let them rest overnight in the fridge.
  3. Heat oven to 190 degrees. Paint the bars with the whipped egg yolk and roll them through the sugar. Cutting discs 1/2 cm thick, place them on a baking sheet and cook for 10-15 minutes to half-height.
  4. Remove the pastas from the tray and let cool.
Notes
  • The marzipan dough can also be made: Chop 500 g of peeled almonds and 25 g of bitter almonds, mix with 500 g of powdered sugar and 50 g of rose water until you get a soft, moldable dough.
