Ingredients
  • 1 lb or 500 grams of meat
  • 1 package Jumbo Shells (snails)
  • 1 Philadelphia cream cheese package of 8 ounces or 250 grams
  • ½ lb 0 250 grams of mozzarella cheese (in block) 1 lb or 500 g if it is grated.
  • 2 tablespoons of sofrito
  • 1 envelope of sazon with achiote
  • Adobo to taste
  • ½ red pepper chopped
  • 1 Garlic-herb sprinkle cube
  • Cilantro to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (for water)
  • 1 Onion (½ sauce and ½ for meat)
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil (1 for water and 2 for the sauce)
  • ½ can of tomato sauce
  • 4 tablespoons sauce for pasta (commercial)
  • 4 tablespoons cream of tomato (soup)
  • 1 Cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Preparing the meat for stuffing
  1. In a pot, place the meat with the following ingredients: meat, sofrito, seasoning, marinade, red pepper, ulna, cilantro and onion. Stir and cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes.
Prepare the batter
  1. In a pan filled to half of water, salt and 1 tablespoon oil. When it is boiling then add pasta (follow the package instructions to cook time).
  2. When the pasta is ready, drain and put in ice water to stop the cooking and then wring out again. Place 1 tablespoon butter to the dough while waiting to fill it out.
Prepare the sauce
  1. In a Pan fry the onion with oil, When you Dim the onion add all the other ingredients: sauce of tomato, sauce for pasta, chicken broth, cream of tomato.
Fill the Shells
  1. Mix the meat with cream cheese to then proceed to fill the shells.
  2. Fill with any utensil that serves to fill. Then in a pan previously greased and preferably rectangular place stuffed snails.
  3. Sprinkle pasta with sauce first, then the cheese. Place in the oven for 30 minutes at 350° f.. or 175° C
